Introducing the Phantom v2640 – the fastest 4 Mpx camera in its class with unparalleled image quality and exceptional detail. As part of the Ultrahigh-Speed Series of cameras, it boasts a full 4 Mpx sensor and the most sensitivity compared to any other (non-BSI sensor)camera in its range.

With the ability to capture 6,600 fps at 2048 x 1920 and 12,500 fps at 1920 x 1080, the Phantom v2640 is a versatile tool that offers up to 5 operating modes for flexibility. Its exposure index range is also noteworthy, with a standard mode of Mono 16,000 – 80,000 and Color 3,200 – 16,000, and a binned mode (Mono) of 25,000 – 125,000.

The Phantom v2640 has a low noise rating of just 7.2e-, which is the lowest of any (non-BSI sensor) Phantom camera. Its dynamic range is 64 dB, which is the highest for any Phantom camera that uses a global shutter. Binning mode reaches speeds of up to 25,030 fps at 1024 x 976, and the FAST* option allows operators to achieve a 142ns minimum exposure.

The camera comes equipped with advanced features such as Correlated Double Sampling (CDS), which provides the cleanest images possible for images with dark regions, and Bright Field Mode that increases the Full Well, giving cleaner images to bright and very bright backgrounds.

The Phantom v2640 is compatible with the Phantom CineMag IV and V media storage systems and comes with 10Gb Ethernet as a standard inclusion, making manipulating, storing, and transferring large amounts of data much easier.
